On Sunday, April 30th, more than 20 members gathered at the Westwood Neighborhood Greenway in West L.A. Our LA chapter chair, Charles Miller, organized a guided tour of the site, sharing its history and restoration process, which led to the beautiful site full of life and renewed biodiversity. After the tour, volunteers stayed to help weed and maintain the area. Click here to see more photos from the event.

Ashleigh Dawson, CEO of Recycle2Riches and co-chair of our Marketing Committee, organized the Earth Day Summit held in Downtown Los Angeles on April 21. Partnering with the California Market Center, 130 trees were planted, 7 pounds of food waste were composted, and  $1,000 was raised to support our impact goals for 2023. To cap off the month's activities, our Community Engagement team, led by Cecile Namer Py and David Marrett, hosted the Welcome Cafe for new members on May 4th at the Urth Cafe in Beverly Hills. This monthly in-person meeting is an excellent opportunity for new members to meet each other and learn about different ways they can engage within the Chapter.
