Climate Action California is offering their popular two-part training on climate advocacy at the California Legislature. This training is highly recommended for anyone who wants to volunteer on climate issues at the state level.

Climate Legislation 101: The Life of a Bill. 

On Monday, June 29, at 6 pm, we'll review the shape of the legislature and the bumpy road to the Governor's desk, explain some of our high-priority bills still moving, and set the stage for our work between now and the end of the current two-year legislative session on August 31.

Climate Legislation 201: Climate Action 'Speed-dating'. 

On Monday July 13, also at 6 pm, we'll give participants a chance to learn about the many kinds of actions volunteers can do in mini-training breakout rooms.
