Make Polluters Pay is proposed legislation that would make the largest polluters in California pay into a dedicated fund to help communities recover from the effects of climate change such as floods, fires and storms and build resiliency against future climate events.
Long Beach 350, 350 South Bay Los Angeles, 350 Southland Legislative Alliance and Third Act SoCal are coming together for a Make Polluters Pay Week of Action the last week of January to support climate superfund and climate insurance legislation in states across the country.
