Dive into a world of knowledge and exploration as we celebrate our oceans and the creatures that call them home. In collaboration with The Open Book, The Persaud Foundation will be holding an Oceanic Literacy Day! We will be having an oceanic story time for children at 1:00 PM with the book "Shark Lady: The True Story of How Eugenie Clark Became the Ocean's Most Fearless Scientist", by Jess Keating. Afterward, we will have a Question & Answer Session about Marine Biology & Science Communication, in which children can discuss any questions that they may have about marine life, & any questions that they may have about entering the field. We shall also be reviewing our shark education fact cards, each of which features a new & interesting shark fact on it!
