California's coast is facing its gravest threat in more than 40 years, and your presence can make a difference.

The federal government has launched a so-called “performance review” of California's Coastal Management Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act. Beneath this wonky language is an overt effort by the administration to eliminate one of California’s best tools for protecting our coast and could open the door to accelerated offshore oil drilling, seabed mining, seismic surveying, and other industrial threats, while ending millions of dollars in federal funding for California coastal restoration, resilience, and public access.

Our alliance is gathering on Monday morning for a community gathering and press conference to say Hands Off California’s Coast. Join us as we stand up to defend our beaches, bluffs, ocean wildlife, and clean coast economy from the federal fossil fuel agenda.
