Wildfire Resilience: A Transcontinental Conversation

  • Schuman Family Foundation Conference Center 12601 Mulholland Drive Beverly Hills, CA, 90210 United States (map)

Initiated by 2026 Goldman Environmental Award winner Dr. Iroro Tanshi, this exhibit tells a story that brings to life the shared challenge of wildfires and the collective efforts to protect wildlife and livelihoods across continents. We will highlight shared experiences between communities in Nigeria and the American West—focusing on both the impacts on wildlife and the inspiring action taken by local people. This show features the work of photographers Aaron Colussi and Etinosa Yvonne.

This tour was created to bridge the gap between science, storytelling, and public engagement. As wildfire impacts continue to grow globally, we believe it is critical to create spaces where people can learn from one another, connect across disciplines, and better understand the relationship between healthy ecosystems, climate resilience, and community well-being.
