SAVE THE DATE! The September LA Climate Reality chapter meeting will be a beach cleanup on Sunday, September 13, 9AM in Venice @Rose Ave. Cleanup 9AM to 11AM, followed by chapter meeting on the beach!
The cleanup is a collaborative event with Surfrider Los Angeles. Our trash collection efforts help steward our local environment, and provide data that Surfrider can use to influence laws and reduce waste at the source.
Join us on the beach at Rose Ave, Venice Beach at 9am! We will be connecting to collect trash from our beloved California shorelines. Meet us on the sand in front of Rose Ave parking lot (1 Rose Ave, Venice, CA 90291) on the southeast/left end of the parking lot. Parking is $18 in the lot, we encourage walking, biking, carpooling, finding street parking, or getting to the lot early (parking is $9 before 8am). Please note!:
Gloves, grabbers, reusable trash bags, sunscreen, and a water refill station-are provided
Remember to bring a reusable water bottle!
If you have a Climate Reality T-Shirt, wear it!
