Resilient Cities Catalyst is pleased to invite you to an exciting documentary screening and interactive discussion that will explore how to bring big ideas and innovative global solutions in climate resilience to California on Tuesday, July 22 at 6:30pm at the Creative Artists Agency's Ray Kurtzman Theater.
RCC partnered with BBC and C40 Cities’ to develop a mini-doc as part of their Transforming Cities series, with support from the Alumbra Innovations Foundation, which will be screened along with other compelling solutions, and followed by a dynamic conversation with experts from across California on integrating resilience practice following the LA wildfires.

The Transforming Cities Mini-Doc explores Oceanside, CA’s effort to address coastal erosion and beach degradation through a unique, community-driven Design Competition that resulted in the RE:BEACH Oceanside Pilot Project, which recently received a $1.8m grant from the California Coastal Commission and was designated SANDAG’s third Resilient Beach Sand Pilot (RBSPIII) project.
