Biodiversity Art Build with Community Participation [New Date]

  • Hollywood Farmers' Market 6357 Selma Avenue Los Angeles, CA, 90028 United States (map)

Note: this event has been moved back by one week to April 30

Join us to create a community art mural that advocates for the biodiversity of Southern California!

Help build an art project focused on the biodiversity of Southern California and supporting the international 30 x 30 campaign. California’s 30x30 initiative is part of an international movement to protect and restore biodiversity, expand access to nature, and mitigate and build resilience to climate change.

The project  will have people paint/contribute watercolor pictures of plant and animal life to be added to a canvas mosaic mural representing the various ecosystems of Southern California - with a particular focus on the Los Angeles basin.  Creative Life Mapping and the Hollywood Market (SEE-LA) will be hosting the event and supplying the art materials.
