The Marketing & Communications Committee is arranging a tour of the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant. This plant has been in the news since the City of LA announced the ambitious goal of recycling 100% of its wastewater by 2035.
This is the second in an ongoing series of “field trips” that will take us to places in and around our city to learn about what’s happening here where we live and work in terms of sustainability, recycling, renewable energy, and more.
Contact Kate Varley, email@example.com to sign-up. Space is limited. This event is FREE.
The Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant is the City's oldest and largest wastewater treatment facility. The plant has been operating since 1894. The plant has been expanded and improved numerous times over the last 100+ years.
