Action Network: Town Hall Green New Deal

Join other CRP LA Climate Leaders and the Sunrise Movement Los Angeles the evening of Sunday, March 3rd for a special Town Hall and panel discussion on how we can implement the Green New Deal, both nationally and here in LA.

Panelists will include:
-California State Senate President pro Tempore Emeritus Kevin de León
-LA City Councilmember Mike Bonin
-LADWP Commissioner Aura Vasquez
-Martha Dina Argüello (Executive Director, Physicians for Social Responsibility-Los Angeles / STAND-LA)
-Jennifer J. Kropke (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union Eleven)
-David Salazar (Chief Facilities Executive, LA Community College District)

The people of Los Angeles know that we need bold climate action, but our senior senator, Dianne Feinstein, has yet to sign on to the resolution for a Green New Deal in Congress. We're inviting the Senator to attend our town hall and join us in discussing how we can move LA, California, and the nation towards a livable future for us all.

Date: March 3rd
Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm (Event will start ON TIME at 5:00pm)
Location: LA City College Student Union Building, 3rd Floor, 855 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029
Parking: Lot 4, entrance off of North Heliotrope Drive, between Melrose Ave. and Monroe Street (under the soccer field). Lot 3 is also available, on the same street.
Public Transportation: Metro Red Line (Vermont / Santa Monica Station)
Accessibility: Entrance to the building is handicap accessible, level to ground. Elevators to the 3rd floor.
